NOTE: Teacher will be employed by TRDA. Program partner must provide bi-weekly verification of the teacher's hours in the form of a timesheet in order for the teacher to be paid on a bi-weekly basis. TRDA will invoice the program partner its percentage of teacher salary and associated payroll taxes on a bi-weekly basis.

Sponsorship Level:

Maximum sponsorship amount per teacher will not exceed the following amounts based upon $20/hr for 280 hours:

Gold: $6,440
Silver: $4,830
Bronze: $3,864

JOB DESCRIPTION/QUALIFICATIONS:
List and describe the teacher's daily duties/tasks and responsibilities. If the teacher will be working on a project, give details as to what the teacher will be responsible for doing during this project. Include computer and software experience required.

The Teacher Quest Program is administered by the TRDA for the Florida Department of Education. It is a professional development opportunity/learning experience for the teacher - not just a summer job. By participating in this program, the program partner agrees to provide follow-up support during the following school year in the form of a teleconference, guest speaker, field trip, etc. This is to ensure that the knowledge and skills learned by the teacher while on the job are implemented in the classroom.
